What is digital advertising?
Organic is asking, paid is buying. How the auction decides who gets seen, why the biggest bid does not always win, and the funnel everything hangs off.
+ The auctionYour child's first ad campaign, shortened to 90 seconds. Pick who sees it, what it says, what it shows, and how fast to spend. Then launch and read the numbers. No real money, no real account.
Fete this Saturday. Volunteers needed!
U10 draw is out. Game at 9am.
Anyone know a good dentist nearby?

See you Saturday at Stall 12!
A shortened version of the real exercise. In class, the numbers come from a full simulator and the kids write the ads themselves.
Most adults cannot look at a set of campaign numbers and say whether the money did anything. AdSmith teaches your child to ask the only question that matters: did it make more than it cost?
Over five levels they plan a campaign, pick the audience, write the ad, spend a pretend budget and read the results. Nothing is posted, nothing is charged, and no account is created in their name.
One level per session at your ACROBO centre. The ad builds up a layer at a time, and each level ends with a short quiz.
Organic is asking, paid is buying. How the auction decides who gets seen, why the biggest bid does not always win, and the funnel everything hangs off.
+ The auctionEvery campaign is three layers: why you are paying, who sees it, and what they see. Get the order right and the rest is easier.
+ ObjectiveBuild the same audience three different ways, then decide which one is actually likely to buy.
+ AudienceStop the scroll, connect with one real person, tell them where to go next. Stop, connect, go.
+ Ad copyCTR, ROAS and the truth. Look at a set of numbers and say whether the money did anything.
+ ResultsNothing arrives in a box. These are skills, and they last longer than a certificate.
Objective first, then audience, then the ad. Not the other way round.
And say which one is actually likely to buy.
Stop, connect, go. One real person, one clear next step.
CTR, ROAS, and whether the money did anything at all.
A side effect worth having: a child who can name a hook and spot a funnel is harder to sell to, not easier.
Add a place to your cart, then pay or send your list to your centre.
No. Nothing is ever charged and no live campaign is run. They plan, write and read results in a safe environment.
No. Nothing is posted anywhere and no advertising account is created in their name.
It teaches them how it is done to them. A child who can name a hook and spot a funnel is harder to sell to, not easier.
No. Every level has interactive parts, written work and a quiz, and the ad they are building assembles a layer at a time as they finish each level.
